What do you understand by Autosum?

Autosum is a function in Microsoft excel and other spreadsheet programs that adds together a range of cells and displays the total.
ऑटोसम माइक्रोसॉफ्ट एक्सेल और अन्य स्प्रैडशीट प्रोग्राम में एक फ़ंक्शन है जो एक साथ कई कोशिकाओं को जोड़ता है और कुल प्रदर्शित करता है।
What is a cell address? In how many ways a cell address can be given?

A cell address is the intersection of column label and row number, which are joined together.
A cell address can be given in many ways-
(i) Relative Cell Address.
(ii) Absolute Cell Address
(iii) Mixed Cell Address

A function is a pre-defined formula that performs calculations using specific values in a particular order.

Excel offers a wide variety of functions-

(a) Math and Trig Functions :

(i) SUM :
function :- =SUM(Number1, Number2, ...)
(ii) Product :
function :- =PRODUCT(Number1, Number2, ...)
(iii) Quotient :
function :- =QUOTIENT(Numerator, Denominator)
(iv) Power :
function :- =POWER(Number, Power)
(b) Statistical functions:
सांख्यिकीय कार्य:
(i) Max :
function :- =MAX(Number1, Number2, ...)
(ii) Min :
function :- =MIN(Number1, Number2, ...)
(iii) Count :
function :- =COUNT(Number1, Number2, ...)
(iv) Average :
function :- =AVERAGE(Number1, Number2, ...)

Write the steps to give Autosum in Excel.
एक्सेल में ऑटोसम देने के चरण लिखिए।
To give Autosum in Excel, we have to follow only the given three steps-
एक्सेल में ऑटोसम देने के लिए हमें दिए गए तीन स्टेप्स को ही फॉलो करना होगा-
(i) Click the formulas tab. (सूत्र टैब पर क्लिक करें)
(ii) Click on the Autosum drop down menu. (ऑटोसम ड्रॉप डाउन मेनू पर क्लिक करें)
(iii) Select the sum function (sum, average, max, min, count, numbers etc.) to be used from the list. {सूची से उपयोग किए जाने वाले योग फलन (योग, औसत, अधिकतम, न्यूनतम, गणना, संख्या आदि) का चयन करें}
Define function argument.
फ़ंक्शन तर्क को परिभाषित करें।
The data that is entered while using a function is known as function argument.
किसी फ़ंक्शन का उपयोग करते समय दर्ज किया गया डेटा फ़ंक्शन तर्क के रूप में जाना जाता है।
